Often we are too much stuck in the feasibility survey problems, and compute the count so that we lose the spirit which is required in opening a business.
Before you start a business, there are three important things you should know in the business. If the third case you run, hopefully the risk of failure in your business can be pushed further.
1. Creative Finding Capital Sources
If you are having trouble finding venture capital and too heavy to pay interest on business loans in the bank, you need to find alternative sources of cheaper capital. Among other possible way to invite your friends or relatives to invest in your business, or even two or three of you can open a joint venture business and run it together.
Alternatively, try to lend money from close relatives or friends nearby. Because generally they have known you and understand your goal to open a business. So they were probably willing to lend money at interest below the bank rate or even no interest.
2. Location and Human Resources
Location is one important factor to consider in opening a business. There are businesses established in a suitable location, but it does not fit elsewhere, opened a grocery store might be more suitable for residential areas. Therefore, do a survey to find a suitable place for your business. Observe market conditions, potential demand, and do not forget to search as well as information about how the prospect of development of that area in the future, as this can greatly affect your business.
Another factor is Human Resources. Human Resources becomes very important because this is what will drive your daily business will be. When you start this business alone probably will not really matter. But, if you hire employees in your business, then you should consider about the personality and abilities. If your employees will be dealing directly with your customers, choose the polite and friendly people.
3. Promotion
Promotional aspect is often forgotten by those who are opening a business, not infrequently omitted promotional activities when business was slow. The reason, no funds. In fact, promotion of business of any kind should not be stopped for a long time.
When the campaign stopped for a long time, people can forget your efforts. But if you're always doing promotions regularly, people will always remember your business. When the downturn hit your business and your competitors, it could still pitch. Maybe you do have to sacrifice a little before, for minimal revenues while spending continues to campaign there. But I believe that when a business downturn is determined on the economic condition factor, then someday the condition will recover.
When conditions began to recover, people begin to take back the goods and services, that's when you will reap the results. People will buy from you, because you are remembered because you are the most diligent promotion.
